Forum Friday is an opportunity to network with and learn from other young professionals in the Baton Rouge area, while enjoying a delicious meal and hearing from a featured leader in our community. Speaker Bio

J. Daniels currently serves as the acting Executive Director of the Baton Rouge Housing Authority. As Chief Operating Officer at Partners Southeast, J. oversees all real estate activity which includes development, acquisition and asset management. He views Partners Southeast as a unique and ideal opportunity to broaden and strengthen the organization’s position as a leading affordable housing developer.

J. has created a successful, multi-disciplined track record in multifamily development, public/private partnership (P3), mixed-income housing, green building design & construction, economic development and urban revitalization. Over the past twenty years, J.’s professional career has included various experiences with private and public sector organizations utilizing real estate as a socio-economic development tool. Specifically, during his tenures at the Atlanta Housing Authority and Charlotte Housing Authority, J. created a reputation for building internal infrastructure to execute direct (or self) development programs. He has been instrumental in providing organizations with innovative policies, strategic and tactical capabilities critical to the success of developing sustainable communities. In past endeavors, J. has effectively maneuvered and raised the visibility of sustainability by delivering successful, tangible outcomes that have been nationally recognized.

J. holds a BA in Finance/Real Estate from Morehouse College. He also holds professional designations of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM). His wife is a Baton Rouge native and they have four beautiful children.
