Forum 35 Board of Directors Nomination



WE WANT YOU! As we look toward the future, we need dedicated members who are ready to serve on our Board of Directors. For more information, contact Forum 35 President-Elect Jessica Keasler.  



Forum 35 is now accepting nominations for open positions on the 2018-9 Board of Directors through
October 21, 2017. We are in need of dedicated leaders who work well with others and can provide the motivation to move Forum 35 to a new level of success.  Per our Bylaws, we have 9 Class "B" Director positions open for nomination. These positions are two year terms. Directors who currently hold those positions and wish to remain on the Board will be considered alongside new applicants.


To be considered for the Forum 35 Board of Directors, a candidate must meet the following qualifications:

  *   Voting Member:  A voting member is one who is current on dues and has not yet reached the age of 40.
  *   Service:  Actively served in some capacity on a Forum 35 committee or project.


A voting member may nominate themselves or another voting member for consideration. If you are nominating someone other than yourself, please first determine their willingness to serve on the Board. Nominations must be made using this form 
and received by no later than 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 21. In order to access the Nomination Form, you will be asked to login to the F35 website.


Please note, unlike some nonprofits, Forum 35 is an all-volunteer organization. There is no Executive Director nor do we have administrative staff. While we contract some duties out, much of Forum 35's administrative and planning work is performed by the Board of Directors. As such, we are a "working" Board and have high expectations of our Directors with respect to organizational involvement and support. In exchange for your time and energy, you will have a direct hand in guiding this organization, resulting in a unique and invaluable leadership experience which can be leveraged for future service opportunities. 


In addition to continuing involvement with Forum 35, Board of Directors are required to attend one board meeting per month, held the second Wednesday at lunchtime.
